The Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) opens its doors for the IIT Open University Day, offering university students and visitors the opportunity to discover the world of scientific research and technological innovation.
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to visit IIT research laboratories, learn about the activities carried out by researchers, and explore the scientific projects and technologies developed at the Institute.
Visits will take place at three IIT research centres in Genoa:
-
Center for Convergent Technologies (CCT - Morego)
-
Center for Human Technologies (CHT - Erzelli)
-
Center for Robotics and Intelligent Systems (CRIS - San Quirico)
Participants can register individually or as part of a group and indicate their preferred research centre and laboratories. Each visit will be organised into guided tours, with laboratory assignments determined according to participants' preferences, available capacity, and organisational requirements.
Every effort will be made to accommodate the selected laboratory preferences; however, specific laboratory assignments cannot be guaranteed.
For safety and organisational reasons, the number of participants in each session is limited. Registration does not guarantee participation. Confirmation of the assigned visit will be communicated by email after the registration process.
